Update: Slightly altered Nyah's original design. Added brow spots, made her nose pink (might darken as she ages), and limited her rosettes to her neck. Most importantly, I established a new lion style~

Appearance: Quite pale with warm undertones, Nyah has short, velvety fur free of scarring or other blemishes (for now…). She is of an incredible, commanding size. Opponents should not undermine her agility, however, as she is surprisingly nimble. Her strength allows for impressive bursts of speed, though she is not one for long-distance.
Disability/Rarity: Pale rosettes along the back of her neck.

Nyah has a personality as imposing as her build. Her steadfast philosophy dictating that every lion(ess) (and hyena, for that matter) can achieve their aspirations with hard-work and determination leaves her constantly brimming with confidence. As such, her ambitions are grand and worth all of the prospective blood, sweat, and tears she excitedly anticipates. So goal-driven is Nyah, that she is often described by her peers as a “machine,” pursuing her ambitions with a grave intensity and uncommon physical dedication. Because she is so unwavering when it comes to such pursuits, Nyah has a tendency towards self-preservation, often viewing the world through a narrow tunnel leading directly towards self-fulfilling desires. Additionally, her philosophy paired with an overactive confidence is sometimes a recipe for unintentional insensitivity. Nyah has a strong belief that all lions are created equal, so her motivational speeches can sometimes rub others who are down-on-their-luck, unconfident, or just plain under-privileged the wrong way. She, of course, is oblivious to the occasional reservations from others since they often find themselves mute after a pep-talk. After all, it’s hard to argue with confidence (especially when it’s pushing 300lbs). Nyah is prone to exuding callousness towards the sensitive type, though this is not due to a lack of care. It can be difficult for her to understand others’ emotions when the answers to all problems seem so clear and definitive to her. Those who are not perturbed by the brazen side of Niyah find a loyal, true friend in her. It is a difficult thing to cause her sorrow as she almost always in a positive or otherwise neutral mindset, therefore, friends of Niyah can expect good-natured fun when she decides to hang around. Her friendly disposition, however, does not keep her from a serious demeanor when the situation arises. Though one cannot expect any overwhelming emotional sensitivity from her, her genuineness makes for a receptive confidant.

History
Nyah was born to the lion Mikael and lioness Imani of the Vimbue tribe only just prior to the great drought of Wethu history and only just following the enculturation of the ancient tribes to Vimbue and Shemsi. Though her parents have been subject to incessant pestering on the matter throughout Nyah’s cubhood, she remains an only child to her disgruntlement. Her parents hail from a common house of the Vimbue tribe, claiming deeper roots within Vimbue than most. Mikael and Imani are common class citizens both of the rank “Hunter,” though they have their sights set on earning their place as burgons in Vimbue society. Due to the tumultuous nature of the political and environmental climate during her earliest days, Nyah has a difficult time piecing together vague memories of a childhood spent with lion and hyena friends, pangs of hunger, and sudden, nerve-wracking relocation. Mostly, though, she associates her adolescence with the sights and smells of the Wethu Falls and the diligent, sacrificial work of her parents. After the relocation, her family worked their way from the ground-up, building a new, respectable life in the bountiful heart of Vimbue territory. Family life for these three lions has remained solid and comforting, despite the many obstacles of recent history. Nyah has a strong admiration for her parents whom instilled within her the fierce discipline she showcases today. Witnessing their struggles is what determined Nyah’s challenging life goal of establishing her own great house, an incredibly difficult feat which will require an enduring, uphill battle for honor that she has gladly accepted as her duty. Upon completion of the kwheta ceremony, she is hopeful for a career amongst the warrior rank, where she expects to perfect the art of battle as well as to hone the strength her body predisposes her to.
