Description
It was a toss-up whether Ryan or Jack would be the Captain of the Guard. Obviously, I chose Ryan, and this was for two reasons:
1. I designed Ryan with an officer's coat, so it wouldn't really make sense for him to be a knight-at-arms
2. Jack would get way too frustrated trying to direct the others in battle (we all know how he gets in the Let's Plays).

I actually put quite a lot of thought into this design. I'll admit that his attire isn't exactly very medieval-looking, but I based it off a combination of a traditional Scottish officer's uniform, a medieval tartan wrap, and the Minecraft skin itself. He's also carrying a claymore, a traditional Scottish weapon. I'm attempting to keep these looking more like their skins, rather than being historically accurate.

Anyway, I did some research, and the colour of the tartan is actually from the Hay clan, and if you view the zoomed version, you'll see that his belt buckle bears the Hay crest and motto, 'Serva jugum'.
