Description
Another little drawing i liked the end result. The more far away i'm moving from last year's obligatory drawing class in university, the more i'm discovering how much i enjoy tempera colours. They give really vibrant colours and are very great to control. I am also trying to figure out how to combine colour with ink and so far i'm really happy. All in all it's been mostly experimenting and having fun and it's liberating. I haven't done this in a long time.
Used micron sakura pens, tempera colours and lots of awkward anatomy

The pose she makes just makes me think of Rihanna.
Also looks like some faceless woman, with red hair.... And that pinkish/red color also appears in the background as it if was the main color in that representation.Β

Oh man seems like pop music is subconsciously dripping into my work haha
Also i managed for the first time to mix a pink that vivid and wanted to use it everywhere.

Pop music? (Listening to this a lot lately? \(^o^)/)
Well, let's be honest: that's a beautiful pinkish red, isn't it?

Not really, but it's hard to avoid it and i like to be informed. Pop, of all ages, is fun and i sure as hell will listen when the mood strikes. My favourites from this time are Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. And Timberlake.
Overall, there are some pretty cool songs going around from time to time and it's also kind of fun seeing the odd song climbing to number one (see Gotye's Somebody i used to know).Β Β I really don't get people who bash pop unconditionallyΒ
I'm sorry, i could be talking for hours about music haha

To be honest, I don't really like that song of Gotye either.... Not my kind.
Interesting that you like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. I guess my fav from Katy was "I kissed a girl". As for LG, Hmmm... Several... I'd say "Paparazzi", and "Judas". I even made a little digital representation of this last one.
What about Timberlake? Well... he had his good times too. I remember that song he made with Madonna... and also a few others, with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, and another with Timbaland only.

Dude, i listen to pretty much everything !Β
I like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga for their over the top-ness and for their whole empowerment move (see Katy Perry's latest Roar, which is pretty awesome, and Lady Gaga's whole scene with the Little Monsters) which is cool.
As for Timberlake, oh man, i couldn't really stand him when i was in school because he was everywhere and i wanted to be cool or something cause i wasn't listening to that kind of music *highschool sigh*. So anyways, i totally like his music after all and his latest Suit & Tie is awesome !

Reminds me that I noticed on Twitter and FB that Lady Gaga called her fans "Monsters". I found that funny.
As for Timberlake.... eh yeah... wanting to be different from the others. Sounds typical at this age. But there's nothing bad in appreciating a singer, really. Β
Also noticed he loved wearing suits & ties (probably to look more or less gentlemanly).

As far as tests go with combining ink and water color, you are doing stupendous.

Thank you ! I'll keep on with this technique. It's real fun and I'm curious where it'll lead.
