The meaning came after I drew... very much against what the lovely Ms. Paz used to teach us...
Again it started out as simply homework... then came out as something better.

I really like how this was colored and shaded... the stones look like stones, the leaves look like leaves, and they're all very solid and vibrant.
I think I'm the only one who can't really see the "balance of life and death" here though >.< But it's very zen-like?
(Oh, and "The Balance" is the force that keeps the twin worlds--Stark and Arcadia--apart in the video game called "The Longest Journey" and its sequel, "Dreamfall". Both games have awesome writing
