tattered
torn
weary
from his journey to seek…
glancing at the horizon
he spots an Illumination
upon the shore
Illumination he discovers
might be within
his reach
A corked clear bottle
lies there
in the sand
within this bottle
was a message
This is how it began:
Dear Reader…
forever
you
walk
forever
you
seek
forever
you
wearily
wade
wandering
while
wondering…
…life's
many
meanderings
empty the bottle
of what within it
remains
Here you note
the figure
picks up a simple X
place this X
upon your chest
and know that this rings true
for beneath the X
is a treasure
that no one has but you
one
that no one
can ever but you hold
but it's contents
are endlessly richer
then that of silver, diamonds, and even gold
