cerulean clouds
veiled in my eyes
crimson lightning
stretched among those skies

forever at a dead end
longing carried across endless seas
salt water thrashing all around
shedding from the cerulean clouds within me

the clouds they call
at awkward times

forgetfulness haunts
the foggy landscape
these are the moments of peace
the moments of escape

despite the clouds and tremulous sea
the sunny times of moments once shared
