Description Summary:
Sans really wished there were some way for him to be excluded from his father's overambitious theories. Dr Aster, the royal scientist had been taking him to the lab for quite some time, under the guise of having an unknown illness, when in reality he is used as a test subject for some strange experiment. He never learned why, just that he had to keep it a secret to everyone, including his own family. He grows more distant and nightmares of the experiment become a common occurrence to him. Eventually someone is bound to notice, right?

Ah, love me some angst in the evening.

I'm still a little unsure about this whole thing, ahaha... The first three pages are done in a far too small format (which is taken care of after pg 3) and as you can tell, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to making comics. My goal is to make the pages flat colored at least, but we'll see how long I manage to keep that up. (edit: added some shadows! ^^)

At times like these I actually wish I had a subscription so I could put this into a subfolder ><

I've mixed opinions about posting anything related to my fanfiction, but I've actually had people telling me they like it so maybe it's not as bad as I've imagined it to be.
This comic takes place during the prologue of my story. Specifically somewhere around here

Oh, this starts off pretty interesting!

I just read the first few panels and I kinda knew that I was going to like it.

What should I say? I like angst-filled, dark and depressive scenarios where Sans has to go through hell just to get a good ending. Damn, I'm just as perverted and mean as Flowey. I always look for the most dangerous path and choose the route (narrative) that makes the characters suffer the most, so that the ending is even more deserving. So, I just can't help it. Maybe I just grew tired of predicable stories...

Judging the art-style and the panels alone, you did a great job. You already noticed that the format you've chosen is too small. As a comic/manga artist, it's always important to have each side on the same format and keeping a little space to all sides. And don't forget to make the pages readable, always going into the same direction. I have read several comics where the artist first used the Japanese reading (right to left) and then started switching it to a more Western reading (left to right) which made me confused. It's important to always ask yourself whether someone else who can't look into your head knows where to start reading a comic. So I really like the eye-movement coming out of this page. As a reader, I'm kinda forced to go through the panels in a wave-similar direction which makes me spend more time on one page. I'm really curious how you will be working with panels in the future.

After reading the description I am even more interested. Dr Aster using his own son for his experiments. Nothing new, to be blunt. We had this Gaster abusing Sans and Papyrus cliche pretty often now, so it's kind of getting boring. At least to the majority of people. I'm still interested in reading different versions about this and see the differences. I need to know why Gaster/Aster would do this and why he would even use his own family for this.

I like how many Undertale fans are so devoted to this game and the characters and even make fully colored pages. Just reading colored pages makes me feel much more interested in a comic and it makes me feel like watching a movie. And damn, that little Papyrus jumping straight out of his bed just to console and look after his big brother. It's just so cute.

I'm curious for the next pages!

Wow! Thank you for your lovely comment! You have no idea how much it made me smile!

Lolol I'm the same way! XD We're both like Flowey in that way!

I'm glad you like this! and I'm so thankful for your advice!! This is my very first comic, and back then I didn't really think much about how panels affect the reader. I just wanted to make the pattern logical, lol. I will keep what you've said in mind and keep working hard! >: D

I agree. XD Back when I first got into the fandom I got inspired by the concept. Especially after reading handplates, and I've always kinda been a sucker for both angst and laboratory settings, experimentation, the psychology behind, etc (why am i like this? lol) But yeah, it can be cliche, it's hard to get past sometimes. I'm still going to try my best to put my own twist to this in order to make it more interesting to the reader... and pull on some heartstrings lol XD

There is a reason. A very horrible reason, but a reason none the less XD Are you familiar with the gaster blaster au?

I see you do that as well and your pages look very fabulous! Haha yeah, smol Paps is a hero, not only to himself, but his brother as well XD

Thank you for being curious about my comic, and thanks for your opinion in this lovely comment! I hope you have a nice day!
