For EyesOfRed2333 's fabulous contest! 100 Watchers Celebration Contest!!To celebrate reaching 100 watchers, I am having a contest! I have been meaning to do one since first joining DeviantArt-- and now I have sufficient watchers to do so! So, with your input, I bring you:
NEUTRALITY
Undertale is best known for it's compelling and amazing characters and interactions, as well as its incredible path system. Pacifist. Genocide. This game will, more like than not, rock you to your core.
But are those two routes the only ones to choose from? Or is there a third? One the community has forgotten?
This third option is no myth
but in fact, a reality.
A route forgotten and left to the dust of a corner... the Neutral route. Unique, unpredictable, and powerful, the Neutral route actually makes up the bulk of Undertale. Changing and fluxing with every single choice you make, the Neutral route is special for every player. Accidentally killed Toriel? Whimsun? Froggit? The game changes for that. Calls you out. Shows you consequences for your actions.

Sometimes I like to think that in this ending Sans still stays around and helps Alphys rule. I can imagine that they connect to each other, because they're both feeling guilty for not killing the human when they could have. Sans because of his promise to Toriel and/or his apathy and Alphys, I believe, because she was either too curious to see what would happen or too insecure to act in time.
