ahaha basically I was planning to do the p-no outfit meme so I drew a base, but I really liked the base so I decided to make a whole anatomy/style study out of it.

on the left is a more realistic style that I rarely use honestly (which I maybe should because it actually looks rather pretty) and on the right is my normal style (and what will probably be the base for the outfit meme and probably any other clothing or design-based memes I attempt to do in the future). I also jotted down quick notes based on each style, and how I formatted it. I'm personally a strong believer in learning/studying realistic drawing first then adapting it to cartoons (even though I learned the opposite, but it was a slooowwww, painful process) so even my more cartoony style still is very based in real-life proportions and measurements. I'm actually weird in the sense that I have a very hard time straying from my fine art training so now I have an incredibly hard time making cartoon anatomy look more...cartoon-y without it looking odd to me, so that is ironically something I have to work on.

if you don't know what squash and stretch is, its mainly an animation term but many cartoonists apply it to their work, including me. I'd look it up if you're curious, there's plenty of tutorials and definitions out there~
