I told you there would be some changes in headcanon for the Pdverse, and here's one of them. Starlight is with Sunburst now, so Faded isn't part of this universe anymore, as she is a Starset bae. Anyway, this is Skylight Gleam and a story about her to help you learn some more about her character and how the Paradox events now start in this universe! Enjoy!

Ponyville Town Square:
Pinkie Pie: Starlight? Oh Starlight, there you are!
Sky: *turns around*
Pinkie Pie: Oh Sky, I didn't realize that was you. I totally thought that was your mom there for a second! *giggles*
Sky: No biggie Pinkie, it happens all the time.
Random Pony 1: Did you see Skylight's performance at the magic school exams last weekend?
Random Pony 2: Yeah. She really needs to step it up if she ever wants to come close to matching her mother's skills.
Random Pony 1: Totally! You figure she'd be a lot more like her mother, I mean, for Celestia's sake, she looks just like her!
Sky: *tears up and runs off*

At the Friendship Castle:
Sky: *walks into the castle with tears in her eyes*
Starlight: Hey Sky, how was your...
Sky: *looks at her, is still tearing up*
Starlight: Skylight, what's wrong?
Sky: I don't wanna talk about it.
Starlight: Come on Sky, you can talk to me. After all, you are my mini me!
Sky: No mom! I don't want to be like you! I don't want everyone calling me your clone or mistaking me for you all the time!
Starlight: Skylight...I...
Sky: No! I don't wanna be called by my clone name either! Skylight Gleam isn't my name anymore! *casts spell*
Starlight: Sky...what are you doing?
Sky: Changing the future. *slips into portal*

I'm gonna rewrite Paradox to fit the new headcanon, and go into more detail about this story in the revised first chapter. Oh, and by the way, after the events of the Pdverse are resolved, Skylight does legally change her name, but you won't know what it is until later in the story.
