Sunrise or Axie had a very peaceful childhood, Hope Hollow never had much drama and is the perfect place to live if you wanna avoid the big cities but still want modern amenities. Axie has selective mutism from his autism and when she does speak it's mostly to her stuffed axolotl Bubba or to his actual axolotls. Talking to other ponies never came naturally to him although he does have a pen pal named Treasure who lives in ponyville, little does Junebug and Torque Wrench know is actually her girlfriend.
