Alright friends so Lyra and Andrew are actually going to have 2 possible backstories because I am still not sure if Riku is going to die in KH3 or not. Enjoy!

If Riku Lives

Birth

Larxy and Riku finally decided that after 2 years of marriage they were ready to have children. About halfway through the pregnancy Larxy noticed that what little mana she had seemed to be almost drained from her entirely. Not sure what was happening they sought Castora's wisdom, but even she had experienced nothing like this in her long lifetime. Through medical examinations it was determined that Larxy would have twins, one boy and one girl. When the time finally came for her to give birth she produced a large blast of mana as the girl was welcomed into the world. The mana luckily caused no damage, and only left her and Riku a little dizzy. Lyra Elena Bennet weighed in at 7lbs 2oz. She was noticeably more pale than her brother Andrew, and mages within the hospital immediately caught onto her strong flow of mana. At such a young age this was unheard of, except in one species. When they were released from the hospital they were told to seek the help of a wise young woman on a lesser known world called Liafyse. Upon arrival to the city Ladylake a young woman who matched the description they were given approached them, introducing herself as Lailah. They asked her about Lyra's peculiar condition, and with a bright smile she announced that Larxy had given birth to a healthy water seraph. She asked questions about the parents' pasts, and discovered that Riku's mother was a fallen seraph. This left Riku half seraph himself, and thus able to continue the seraphic bloodline. Lailah explained that other than an extremely strong flow of mana, a sensitivity to malevolence, and an extended lifetime, seraphs generally developed the same as humans.

If Riku Dies

Riku fully accepted that he was going to die at the final battle with Xehanort. What he hadn't expected was to transcend his own humanity and wake up the next morning as an earth seraph. Unfortunately none of the others seemed to notice his presence. He decided that perhaps a powerful wizard might be able to see him, and when Yen Sid seemed to fail he visited Merlin. Larxy, overcome by grief, decided to absorb herself in a job as Merlin's apprentice. Her high level of resonance made up for her low amount of mana, and she saw him the minute he walked into the wizard's home. Merlin explained that Larxy could channel her resonance, and Riku would be visible to anyone as long as he was near her. Eventually the two were married and decided to have children. They ended up with twins; a human boy named Andrew, and a water seraph girl named Lyra.

Childhood (ages 2-9)

It was true, Lyra and Andrew developed at approximately the same rate in speaking and walking. Lyra was a rather shy child around anyone but her family, but was polite anyways. Luckily Radiant Garden severely lacked in malevolence so she almost never got sick.

Adolescence (ages 9-14)

While Riku passed his keyblade to Andrew because Seraphim could not actually weild one, Lyra began traveling to Liafyse weekly and received training in Mystic Artes. She excelled at the healing and supportive Artes, but fell short on more offensive centered ones. With her gentle nature Lyra fully accepted her place as a healer.

Current Day (age 15)

When she isn't pulling Andrew out of trouble or studying, Lyra often enjoys spending time wherever there is water to be found. She's very shy and reserved, but once you prove to her that you mean her no harm she is extremely sweet and nurturing. She is curious about Seraphic history, and often carries a book related to it.
