I'v wanted to do a mermaid piece for about a year now, but couldn't find Mermaids that really hit the spot for me, this one and subsequent ones did the trick
Azure is resting on the side of the water with a couple of her seahorse friends....

Hmm.. onething I notice is she's sitting.. so her butt should be flataned out a little bit on the bottom.
Even as round as mine is, if I use it to hold me up it gets squished flat.
