But I see wasted potential. Why make fetish art which only appeals to some (some wierd) people, when you could make better, amazing art that appeals to a whole audience. If it wasn't for the fetish art, I'd honestly Watch this artist. Their style is nice and can draw very well.Β

You waste potential of having more people love your work. At least in my (and many others) eyes. As I stated before, I respect the artist's decision. They do what they wish.

I can see where you are going with it, its just to easy to say that his talent is wasted. He could get a lot bigger audience if he did what someone else wanted him to draw, but it would be sad to see to be honest. Lets all only draw skinny white girls in pastel colors, and see when the fun ends. People should draw whatever they feel like doing, if you got demotivated by drawing stuff you dident like to draw, you would stop at some point. Thats the truth. Like when I was younger, most people told me to keep away from what I liked to do, because the money was more important. After becoming a dentist, and working with it in over 5 years its still not my dream to do. The pay is great, but its not fun. Its good that you respect the artistβs decision, if this makes him happy it sounds like it was a good move.

I'm not exactly saying "Only skinny girls". I'd just prefer if people didn't draw morbidly obese humans and fetishizing it. I say that because well, I'm 100% certain this IS some sort of fetish and some people find pleasure in this. If somebody wants to draw chubby girls, go ahead. Do what they want. I'm not really bothered until it just starts becoming "Oh yeah. Being fat is ok. No problemo my compadre".

Let me make this simple enough so that even you can understand, when you're an artist and you're using your talent to make something you like, that is by no means a waste.
