They may look simple but you know trying to take a picture of one is never simple. Sunsets are such ever changing of nature's common everyday things we take for granted. You captured this wonderfully though

oh and theres a heron in there as well...you can barely see him but he's under the 'g' in my name.

There are blue herons at the lake here and even a nest but every time they see me and my camera they become like mist, or fly off
I think they just hate me, I even leave the dogs at home so as not to make any noise but they still refuse to let me capture their cute selves!!

Well this guy was quite a ways away from me. I tried my zoom lens and it was too dark plus I didn't want to have a long exposure despite the fact he wasn't moving about much. But it was just the lighting was bad

thanks. I almost was late for this photo. I was going to leave and forgot that the days are closing in and the sun is starting to set now around 9:30 so I left at 9ish and though 'Crap I'm gonna miss this' but got there in time for it.

Here so hot I will wait till cooler weather before I try for setting sun pictures
