Description
This was taken in January. It was a terribly grey and very wet day. This waterfall is on the way to Ullapool right off the side of the road and because it was so wet the waterfall was quite impressive. I like the square rock.
The photo was taken with Ilford Pan F 50. I've had to lighten it a bit.

Ah Ilford film, those were the days. Very nice shot, the square rock anchors the whole picture.

I have to admit that square rock was the only real reason for this photo. I thought it was such a neat thing something so symmetrical agains the insistent flow of the water. Thank you!

Gorgeous pic and great way to beat a blah-like day. I'm a lover of the long expose and b/w photography.

I quite like long exposure shots too. They're good on blah days--a good lighting for it I think

thanks I'm glad you like it! I was a bit concerned with darkness of it due to my lack of knowledge of Blackand white film but after lightening it slightly I think it did the trick. Thanks again!

I wasn't so sure of the b&w film as I've never used that type of b&w before. It was a dismal coloured day so I thought it would work ok...I think I need to work a bit more on how I photograph with this film. But thanks a bunch for your comment and the fav!

Welcome! I love B&W pics the most, but I agree with it being difficult and different to work with.
