I thought that the GOanimate Grounded Videos trend was already dead............. But now we have this other trend: CHILDISH!

Mh main problem with this videos is that, just like Grounded videos, all of the series and videos are the same thing all and over again:

1.The family goes somewhere
2.The Childish Character wants to eat, watch or do something "for children"
3.The other family members get shocked (For this? Really?)
4.The parent says that he/she is too old for It
5.The Childish Character tries to justify It
6.At some point one of the children reminds uf (as if We were dumb) that he/she is younger than the Childish Character and is more mature (For the LOVE God, you think that i'm a pope? Why the Heck would I want you to remind me of your age?!)
7.The Childish Character throws a tantrum
8.The parent tells him/her to stop
9.The Childish Character screams on a High pitched, annoying and ear-bleeding voice (Apparently this is funny for some people)
10.The family goes home and the Childish Character gets Grounded

This formula is (at least for me) pretty boring, and it gets tiring pretty fast. Even the alternative videos (Like the ones where Catherine acts Entitled) are also repetitive, it really gets annoying when all that happens is that Catherine says that something is for babies, the family insult her, and one of the 2 groups starts screaming.

I know that it´s not totally wrong to have a repetitive formula, as there are shows (Like Phineas and Ferb, Doraemon or Scooby Doo), webshows (Like El Ultimo Minutoon) or Comics (Like Mortadelo and Filemón) that have a repetitive formula, but the difference between all of this series and the "Childish Videos" is that the stories on those shows are more surprising (Example: You may know how every episode of Phineas and Ferb will end, but you don´t know what gadget will they use or in what way will Perry Stop Doofenshmirtz. Or in Mortadelo and Filemón, you don´t know in what way will the 2 agents piss off their boss). The GOanimate Childish Videos however, are soooo repetitive to the point that it feels as if the creators were using a blank sheet for the script of EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

One other hand, other problem that that also contributes to this problem, are the character. Just like in "X GETS GROUNDED", instead of having characters with personalities, we have roles that can be used for each character, those beings:

-The Childish Character that throws tantrums whenever he doesn´t get his way.
-The parent(s) that always forbids the childish character from doing stuff that he/she is "too old for" (Even when the thing that the childish character wants to do it´s not bad, like ordering from the Kid´s meal)
-The younger character(s) that does nothing but show a "sick and tired" expression when the childish character does something (And of course, reminding us that he is more mature than the childish character). At least for me, this is to most bland and loathsome type of character.

This types of characters are again, "One trick Ponys". You all know Scratch right? You all know the blocks that are used to make the actions right? Well, the characters of this videos are like if we took those blocks and turned them into characters, cause this is how bland they are.

Also, can We Talk about how this videos are really wrong? How is wrong to ask for Food in the Kids's menu? Or watching shows that are made for younger children? Honestly, I feel that this videos are made by children that want to look "mature" That's why in almost every video the "mature" characters say things like: "Instead of watching baby shows, you should watch shows that are for your age, like Family Guy" (Family Guy is mentioned a lot on this videos and I just can imagine the creators being like: "Look, I like an adult show, i'm sooooo mature"). In this videos apparently being adult and watching, playing or eating something "for children" it´s a sin.

Last but not least, the comedy. Just like the idea of "One Size Fits All"that this videos have, the comedy is really childish (No pun intended). The comedy is basically just the childish character screaming on a High Pitched Voice and throwing tantrums. When it´s not that, the comedy just consists of the characters using unnecesary violence and swearing.

IN CONCLUSION: The Childish X videos are mediocre and boring as the Gets Grounded videos, being a product of the law of minimum effort that this community has.
