Gorgeous self-portrait, Ina!
Always good with the light in your eyes.
Are you using film? Anyway, I really like your latest series of portraits.

You're very welcome, sweetheart.
I lovee film too - for the same reasons. And film is much better for portraits, because it doesn't highlight every pore on a person's face! I'm so happy that we can talk to each other about film cameras and films!!!
What camera are you using mostly, and what is your favorite film? I know that in Europe, you have different films than we do in the US. but also, sometimes films just have different names, but they're the same film.
This is going to be so much fun, dear!

most of the time i shoot with my revueflex sd 1, with a 28mm/2,8f objective. a week ago i also got a canon af 35mm (which is the first model of autofocus analogue cameras!). i use kodak colorplus or kodak gold films! i forgot the name of the black&white ones though how about you?

Interesting!
I had never heard of Revueflex before, so I just looked it up. That's quite a rare classic camera you have!
I've noticed a lot of European film shooters using Kodak Gold. Kodak Gold is a brand name we don't see in the US much any more, but I'll bet it's pretty much the same as the Kodak Portra that is their main US color film now. What speed does Gold come in? I remember using the 200ASA years ago.
As for B&W films, I mostly use Kodak Tri-X 400, and old Kodak Plus-X 125 that was discontinued several years ago. I get it on eBay, and it's really expired film! But B&W film that's 20 years old is generally just fine, as long as it's been kept in a cool, dry place.

what camera do you use for taking your photos though?
i dont exactly know what speed there is for gold haha i have to take a look next time i buy those films. yesterday i bought two black and white films, theyre ilford xp2 super 400. and as i looked on ebay a few seconds ago i realized theyre so much cheaper there. i have to order all of my films there, thank you for the tip!
