I thought I had finished this AU long ago.
But I have a lot of things to fix, so yeah.

Welcome back to PJ0102's new post, guys.
I'll be introducing my NegativeDust take to you, NegativeDust: Hired Bones
The subheading originated from the idiom 'Hired Gun', meaning Murder Contractor. Yes, the name 'Money Solves Everything' was scrapped lol

So, what's the main concept of this AU/AT?
The very typical plot of DustTale didn't seem to fit NegativeTale very well, although, unlike Underfell, genocide route is actually possible in NegativeTale.
I considered, if NegativeTale Sans had a reason to kill people, what it'd be. Then I reached out to the conclusion, that he'd kill people for money.
What did we call this again? Murder Contractor.

Some funni facts regarding Sans:

ㆍHe could smoke or not, it's up to your preference.

ㆍHe does not see a hallucination of Papyrus. He just doesn't see hallucinations in general. Why would he see them when he never felt guilty from killing people, even Papyrus?
No regrets.
No regerts.

ㆍHe never had a change with his personality, despite becoming a Dust AU Sans.

ㆍThose two holes in his hood are because of the flame that comes out from the cracks of his skull when he uses his magic eye.

ㆍHe has another crack in his skull, due to Papyrus hitting him at the beginning of the story.

ㆍAs said frequently, Sans isn't a mass murderer here but rather a murder contractor. He doesn't kill people for no reason.

ㆍHe just gambles as usual with the money he earned from doing the hitman job.

ㆍDespite becoming a Dust AU Sans, Sans could stay alright with Frisk, unless...
-Frisk commits a genocide route
-Frisk intervenes in Sans' job (Possibly trying to save a monster targeted by Sans? Up to your imaginations.)
-Someone hires Sans to kill Frisk

ㆍHe threw away his gray vest seen in original Negativetale Sans' design due to being heavily torn off, and bought a new trench coat with the money he earned
Same thing goes for the ruby necklace, it's meant to replace his determination/red eye as he doesn't have determination/red eye unlike most Dust AU Sans-es.

ㆍHe often uses bone zones to kill someone off, not willing to use gaster blasters since they make loud noises.
However, he'll have to use it when encountering someone that cannot be easily killed by only bones.

ㆍIf he had a fight theme, the name would be "Deal-t with". It's to mean two meanings that the murder contract is a 'Deal', and that the victim is being 'Dealt' with.

Annnnd a couple of extra side stories lol

Battle with Sans would be possible if one of those three situations I mentioned above. (Going on a genocide route; Intervening; Being Targeted)
Frisk may survive for a few minutes, but it's impossible for Frisk to win this fight.
Why? If he feels he had enough fun fighting with them, he'll just use an avoidable attack that will drain their HP instantly. ((Remember that one bone zone you can meet when you spare Sans in the middle part of the full battle?))

That was one of the two, now let's look at the second one which is also the last.

Sans eventually dies. I mean, everyone dies in the end, but he does get 'killed'.
Killed by who? Frisk? Nah, I did mention that it's not possible for Frisk to win in a battle against Sans. Then who?

Alphys, and the royal guards. And indirectly Asgore.

Alphys reports Asgore that a hitman called Sans is killing many people for money. Asgore rages that someone is making money out of killing some weak monsters that should be executed on the festival, ordering Alphys and the royal guards to torture him as much as possible and kill him off.
Alphys will electrify Sans to get him fainted, also equipping him with a device that makes you unable to use his magic (It's not officially a thing in NegativeTale, but I believe Alphys was able to make it since she even made a device that makes the equipper have no other emotions than loyalty and violence.) so he can't attack against them or use teleports.
Then later the guards (Possibly Undyne could be in) will torture him and end up getting him killed.
That's what I thought of Sans' fate.
