Description
A contract was signed for $219 million, Elbit Systems won the Wheeled Armored Personnel Carrier Acquisition Project of the Philippine Army to supply VBTPs to the Philippine Army from Brazil, designed to replace their existing wheeled armored vehicles. These vehicles were obtained in armored personnel carrier, command post, armored recovery vehicle, ambulance and tank destroyer versions. A total of 60 units were bought, with being an armored command post, an ambulance and two ARVs. The rest were an even split between APC and Tank Destroyer, the tank destroyer variant utilizing the LCTS 90 90mm turret on a VBTP hull, as well replacing the existing Cascavels and FV437s. This gave the Army a great mobility and the capacity to engage fire support mission while supporting the existing Leopard (1 & 2) MBTs.

Note: In real life, the Philippines really gets 28 of these. Hopefully this will happen.
