Description
Following the forming of the Philippine Army. The US also provided Philippine's Commonwealth forces with Armor, providing the Army with Infantry support. The Armor of the modernized Philippine Army, came in the form of US Combat Cars of M1 and M2. Both were in service of the Cavalry Corps of the Philippine Army. Fielded by the Philippine military early on in WW2 during the Philippine campaigns of 1941-1942 when armored vehicles of all manner were needed. All M1s and M2s that served subsequently fell to enemy Japanese forces.
