They look like hadrosaurs. The adult (Golduck) has ornamental crests on it's head and the young (Psyduck) have soft down to keep them warm.

Oh my god! They are so adorable! The little fuzzy psyducklings remind me of the little ducklings that live in my neighborhood! The Golduck is just plain beautiful! She seems to have lots of love for her cute little babies! XD I would too if I were her.

This is just downright adorable. Though the Golduck has alot of dinosaur features, I can still see a method of evolution between the Psyduck and Golduck. You really added a realistic resemblance while connecting the two evolutionary links close together. Love it.

To Leonwind: I don't think the golduck is usually on all fours, I think it's just crouching so it can watch its young.
The bird/reptile look is an interesting take on golduck. Though Leon does make a point that the evolution doesn't seem to fit, but maybe the pokemon just loses all its fur/feathers and becomes a swimmer (from what I've heard, psyduck can't swim that well... Unless Misty's was just defective). As the others say, I think the psyduck are the most adorable of your pokemon ever, and I just want to pick one up and cuddle it (though golduck would probably injure me). And I love what you did with psyduck's crest.

Psyduck doesn't look fit for a life under surface at all, so I imaged the parents taking care of them until they've grown into golducks.
A bit like baby seals... the young have a nice warm coat that is worthless in water, but develops acoat that work for swimming when they mature. But psyducks would instead of getting another type of coat, just get bald... XD

It looks like a hadrosaur or duck-bill dinosaur. And as of the feathers, they could be for warmth and as the hatchlings grow older they lose their feathers since their new found size would keep them warm.

I only have one problem with this picture, i dont understand how a marine mammallian and even reptilian golduck could give birth to such birdlike psyduck. the two generations just differ to greatly. the beak shape, the fact that psyduck was born with feathers while golduck seems more "naked", golduck's head crest, and the apparent body structure of golduck as it seems to be quadrupedal, against the seemigly bipedal psyduck. from an artistic point of view i must say that it is an amazing drawing and great interoretaion of the pokemon evolutionary line and frankly speaking THOSE PSYDUCK'S ARE THE CUTEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!
