Sceptile for !
I used watercolors for it, so it’s a bit brighter then my usual stuff... I worked hard on the coloring so I didn’t feel like adding in pen. What you think? Do you prefere the watercolor pen that I’ve used for most of my pokémon art or wouldn’t you mind to see more like these?

On to sceptile!
First I went for a raptor-look for sceptile, but it looked really unbalanced due to the long neck! So I went for a gallimimus like creature instead... then this idea of how kasuars walk around in the woods stroke my mind. It suited my version of sceptile perfectly, as they are green. And in kusuars, both male and females are brightly coloured (thought, the females are bigger and got larger ornaments) to attract each other in the dull jungle.
So, I was thinking that the intensely coloured plates and orange areas of the sceptile could have such function. Thought, intense colours aren’t very good for a predator, so maybe their colours are dull except during a mating season or something.
Sceptiles may feed on small mammals and reptiles, thus it lives alone or as a pair and guard a territory (but as a pair, they may hunt bigger prey, something that is great as they may need more food if they got young). They are quick, but always start a hunt by stalking a prey or standing still, waiting for its approach. It got leaf-like structures and green colour upon its body that work as camouflage. Such ornaments wouldn’t be very good for a hunter as they reduce speed and may get entangled, so maybe they can fold them.
Err... something like that...
