So Ive been going through my design and planning phase for future fakemon, and I came up with this chart to show me what types are lacking and the opposite. Its kinda interesting to see where its growing and dwindling. I never thought that bug type would be my biggest section.So my question is, what should the ratio of types be? Should I have an equal amount of each type and if so, how many is a suitable number.
But I think for now, looking at this chart, I'm taking a break with bug. water and fairy types and bring out some Fighting,Dark and Dragon types.

I think this is a great idea to see where you're at with typing. I wouldn't say you need an equal number of each type since there is usually fewer dragon, dark, ghost and steel types.

I agree with your point.
I think though I want more types that associate with the supernatural or mythological cause I consider the Biritz Region very mystical.

Well if that's how you see it then by all means go with more dark/fairy/ghost/psychic types etc.
It all depends on what you think fits in your region best

fighting types never, ever, EVER take priority for me (gah, I hate designing them so much).

They are awkward, but I have two designs in progress and Ive asked a deviant if I can use one of their designs, which ill be altering to fit fighting type.
