Aw! 
I actually have a theory about Keith's height. Assuming (avoiding spoilers!) that Krolia left soon after Keith was born, he would have been bottle-fed until he was old enough to eat solid food. However, I seriously doubt that Human formula has all the nessicary protiens for a half-Galra child, which would have stunned his growth somewhat.
