Description
One of the images I have always enjoyed from the Zelda series was the image of Link in A Link to the Past in the manual. I was a bit skeptical when the game came out. I was a fan of the previous two and A Link to the Past was too different for me at the time. But as soon as I opened the manual I saw the art and it won me over.So, to explain what you see above, I always wanted a really hi-res image of this image of Link but I could never find one. It was always grainy and crappy. So, what I did was recreate it in vectors so that no matter what it would never degrade. That being said, here come the disclaimers:
I did not draw the original. This is a redraw, a.k.a. a trace. This isn't my talent. And everything is copyrighted to Nintendo.

A Link to the Past was my first exposure to Zelda, but I'm a 1990 child, so the first two were a little bit before I started playing games. I did play a lot of older games on the NES back in the day, but unfortunately the first two Zelda games were not among the ones I was exposed to.

Yeah, the 80's were weird times. But I have a lot of nostalgia for that decade. I guess you could say the the first two Zelda games were my introduction to something that was relatively high fantasy.

As good as A Link to the Past was, Ocarina of Time will always be the best one to me.

Yeah, not sure which one I would call the best. Each one has its own spot in my head.

Same here, but what was established in Ocarina is what has defined the series the most since its release.
