Description Thought I'd better throw something up. Anyway here's a Art Test I did for a potential job (fingers crossed) at Creative Assembly. I had a limit of 2000-2500 polys (tris); one diffuse and normal map at 512x512 pixels and one specular map at 256x256 pixels.

Created in 3ds max, edit poly of course. I ended up using 2335 polys, I'm not real happy with it. I could have used the polys better (more detail) around the front.

The textures were created in photoshop, pretty much all photo reference... I'm a hack I didn't have time to create a proper normal map in mudbox, so I created it with photoshop Nvidia plug-in. It was combo of a hand painted greyscale image and diffuse texture both been run through the normal plugin. Then I pulled the blue out of their levels and overlayed them ontop of each other. Good for controlling the depth for the bricks and windows.

Very impressive. I haven't heard of Creative Assembly, but your work is really very good. Good luck with it.
