I live! Well sort of.I am in the worst artist block I think I ever have had
Every wolf and human I attempt looks horrid. lol So I pushed myself to draw some horses to try and get back into shape.
Plus I heard this rumor that people want to see more Frog and Lily
ehehe So I challenged myself to draw them with their dams. Also to get some practice drawing foalsSo here is Verona, Frog's mother standing over him. She is a weathered old mare; a been there done that mustang who has successfully avoided capture for 17 years.
I want to work on this story so badly.
Its time will come. In the meantime I will occasionally post some pretty art of the characters. Verona isn't part of the story for long but she sure is fun to color.<3 Frog!

Geeze.. this is stunning! I love the colors of the two, and Frog looks incredibly adorable. I love the feel and texture of this piece as well. This is definitely one of the best equine works I've seen in a long time.

Oooh, so you're working on a story for this character? Even if not, I can't wait to see more!
Did you use a digital watercolor tool and then a texture over it? Especially for the grass, was that watercolor? (I'm trying to get some version of painting backgrounds down for my own comic, and your own was the base of an idea for how I'd like to color it, unfortunately, I'm really bad at coloring landscapes).
