This is what came to me when I thought of an eclipse with the planet dragons
I had this in my mind for like, a few weeks lol

I like the multiple eyes for the Sun, but for some reason it just doesn't feel like it's enough. It is the Sun we're talking about here.

Ooooo, that would be really cool. Although that's through different light filters when looking at the sun. You could do it as a thing where all the planets put on cool sun glasses and can see the many different variations of the sun, and it ends with the planets taking them off and then seeing the Sun dragon without the filter as just a burning white light that blinds them all.
