Does working from the sketch on normal-arse sketchbook paper work well, or should I use watercolor paper?

Fine Line pen (Pentel, Uniball, etc). I mean that you can get a sharper border to color within if you use a fine line pen to start it. Im not that good at it but I have seen some great examples of this on DA and in certain comics/graphic novels. Hope that helps
