A Guardian sees an small cargo ship, long since abandoned.(Based off Bungie's Destiny IP, but this is oddly close to looking like Halo...)

I remember reading that Destiny may take some place in the span of the 28th and 31st century. Therefore, if you really wanted to, you could think of Halo being in the distant past of Destiny! It's kinda fun, actually!

While that is a cool thought, it's impossible for Destiny to be the future of HALO. If what I know so far is correct, mankind only extended as far as the outer reaches of the Solar System, and it was only really thanks to the Traveller that they gained such a firm presence on other planets. In HALO, Humanity had extended to hundreds of planets in other Solar Systems by the 26th century.
