I'm curious as to why this signifies "natural man" for you? Is it because it is so often called something terrible and unnatural? (I notice also it's uncircumcised which also would add into the meaning)

'natural man' plays in reference to the Mormon scripture "...the natural man is an enemy to God..." (Mosiah 3:19)
and refers the the uncircumcised state. I think circumcision is stupid, but the church's influence (God) has made it a very common thing.

Reread Mosiah 3:19 again. I have the book of Mormon which was dreamed up and written by Joseph Smith. At least it was consistent from start to finish. The church, embarassed by grammatical mistakes and the like, had corrected them over the years.
The same for the Adventists who, tho they worship Ellen White, had edited and glossed over her inconsistencies and absurdities.
"the natural man" refers to man in his unsaved depraved state, a sinner and without sanctity of nature due to Adam's sin being imputed to him.
P.s. Circumcision reduces the intensity of sexual sensation, leaves a SCAR, scars the glans, and iks extremely painful, local anesthesia being no help...

btw on a sort of off-topic note xD I think circumcision lowers chance of things like various STDs, makes good hygiene easier, etc. (I mean that makes sense, if you look at the structure of the thing)
but generally I agree with you and it's sort of unbelievable the ridiculous stigma associated with not being circumsized
It seems that religious influence plays on a lot of other .. odd perceptions people have on things..
