Finally! What is the world of MOTU without Castle Grayskull? I’ve been debating over the design of this piece for quite some time now. Should I sculpt it Chibi-like? Or pay homage to the Classic version? Or just go with the 200X look? Decisions, decisions.. Finally I settled for the 200X version. I didn’t want to stylized Grayskull as I want it to look exactly like it jumped out from the cartoon in 3D. To date this is the largest single sculpture in the world of Mini Masterz Unleashed! It’s 14 inches in height and 11 inches in width and it took 2.5 bags of Model Magic, which wasn’t too bad. The structure of the castle is made out of cardboard so it’s mostly hollow inside. Personally I don’t like to sculpt big pieces but since its Castle Grayskull I made an exception.
