Description Inspired by the movie They Saved Hitler's Brain (1968) here's a Hitler's brain in a jar prop for a B.P.R.D. larp game. Trying to ape the Mignola style in 3D on a budget of basically £0.00.

Foam, latex, plastic, rivets, bits of wire, LED lighting

Awesome, Great start for further revisions. I agree with the others on thier point of bubles and water.
And this is how you start out makeiing props for major companies for stage or movies.

Would be cool if it was full of water and had bubbles that came up with the lights. Basically a fish tank with that brain in it but then you'd have to waterproof everything with a lot of glue. Still cool.

I agree but it was made with being safe to run around with in mind. I would like to make a 'proper' brain in a jar at some point

Hehehe. You could always do a double for close up shots. Then a prop for the running scenes where it needs to move around a lot. But I get your thinking. Still turned out great are you doing the movie in black and white/sepia 3D would be pretty cool color wise.

Thanks, but I think you may have misunderstood slightly. These props were not made for a movie but for a LARP game I ran a couple of years ago based in the Hellboy/BPRD universe. I never designed them to be anything more than that.

My current projects I intend to be what you might call 'movie quality' though they are not for any movie projects, just for my own amusment and LARP maybe...

Or even a smaller false tank so it wasn't really full of water just looked like it was. Thinking like MK-2 when you see him as a brain with a spine in a jar.
