Maraz may be flat-out evil, but he does hate the Sith... and thus, his goals coincide with those of Sorani and Loctho. As such, there was a time when he interacted with them quite a lot, like in this picture, where his reason for hating the Sith shows. You see, he was a Sith once, but he left them spitefully. They restricted him, and their accursed baurocracy kept him from the title he desired: Darth Cubus. Why Cubus, and what does that have to do with him molesting Loctho? Well, look at Darth Vader and Darth Sidious - both have names that become eerily apropos words when prefixed with 'In.' 'Vader' works well because the Vader persona did invade Anakin Skywalker's mind, and nobody could ever deny that Palpatine was insidious. Now add 'In' to Maraz's desired title, and if the only definition you can think of is a band, look it up in a dictionary.
