I have a new fandom, and that fandom is Top Gear. Richard Hammond is so cute, I want to squeeze him. And Oliver is similarly adorable. It was just too much at the end of the show when Richard announced that he was shipping Oliver back to England, and loudly declared their mutual love.If you haven't ever seen an episode of Top Gear, start watching it. If you already watch Top Gear and haven't seen the episode where they go to Africa and Richard falls in love with Oliver the 1963 Opel Kadett, go find it, it's in season 10.
Cars are the most difficult things to draw in the entire universe. It took me about six tries redrawing Oliver's front end before he actually looked like a Kadett, and even then I forgot his crooked grille (which has since been corrected). I did try to make his headlights as expressive as possible, though. Lines are pencil, colors are Photoshop.
In keeping with my usual arrangement of partners - if Oliver is right-hand drive, does that make Richard the woman?
