As in his rivalry with Light/Kira and the lengths he will go to solve the Kira case mark him as not so different.
But "you're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you."

Light – "Addicted to Chaos" by Megadeth [link]
Describes both Kira’s mentality:
"Light shined on my path, / Turn bad days into good / Turn breakdowns into blocks, I smashed 'em / Cause I could"

And Light’s relationship with L:

I was actually looking for another song with Idiot in the title that I couldn’t remember who did it and all that and came across this song just now and I thought it fit him even better.
