Description
So this lion's name is Mwezi and he is the adopted son of Vitani. In my headcannon Vitani isn't interested in having a mate and doesn't have children of her own. She was once hunting at night when she found him as a very young cub all alone, and she decided to adopt him as her son.

Though Mwezi does love Vitani as a mother, he was still upset that she isn't his real mom and that he doesn't even know about his real parents and that they probably abandoned him for some reason. The other cubs also bullied him because of this. He often argues with Vitani because of this, saying to leave him alone whenever she tries to ask what is wrong, and Vitani being the strict parent she is, always punishes him for acting so rude to her. Though they both argue quite often, they still love each other and care about each other.
