Wow, this is a pretty good painting. You are very mighty w/ the brushes indeed. I really like the oily texture and look to it. Also, though I may not know THAT much on art (or oil painting atleast; I use acrylics), I'd be glad to critique you on the lighting and proportioning.

The first thing I noticed was the strain to his jugular and torso, very well realised, with such straightforward shading. The flurry of petals definitely add dramatic flair to the atmosphere, as do the huge bokeh rounds in the background. Almost makes this look like a stage performance
