Grandfather Clock... where do I start with this one?

He was but a simple man. He did honest work in the industry and was decently respected by his peers, but the issues arose from his repressed emotions. Toxic positivity can do a number on one's psyche, and this had built up in him for a while until it was all released on the wrong person... Borrowed Time.

He wound up paying the ultimate price: The loss of his humanity. Every single day when the clock strikes midnight, a harrowing beast takes over and wreaks havoc on whatever (or whoever) is nearby him; Anyone who happens to be too close to G.C. whenever this occurs tends to have a habit of... disappearing.

Since the beast arises at every midnight hour, Grandfather Clock is forced to flee to an unpopulated location in a futile attempt to save others from himself.

There's really no way to put this sweetly, he's doomed to an eternally miserable life.
