"A warrior has fallen tonight. Over a month ago, I was scheduled to meet up in Australia for the next challenge, but... I went AWOL."

"The time away from the event has been nice, I needed to recharge, but surrendering my perfect attendance means I'm not going to make the podium. Which is incredibly disappointing, but those guys can be too much to handle..."

"On the bright side, the sunset is really pretty tonight... I'll meet up with the others tomorrow. I wonder if anyone noticed that I was gone."

This is Challenge 13 for Object Wars 14 . Challenge Description: Autumn.

I ended up skipping Challenge 12 entirely due to sheer burnout. I really didn't want to, but I just didn't have it in me to work on it due to life events.
Thanks to that, my placement in the competition went from 2nd to 5th, and Med-Kit's feeling glum about it. :')

(Please tell me someone catches the reference in this art style.)
