Description
Washed in bloodwill you ever be set free,
Of pain so great
in your bitter heart?
Wishing and waiting
Someday to find
That your Justice
is done.
I'm not saying
that what he did
is right!
But was I?
Were you?
Is anyone?
No
We have tongues
Like vipers,
Hands of Iron
and Fists of steel.
Words now soft
and ever pleasing to the ear
are turned to Poison
in the whispers of
Hatred and Despair
Smack went the Hammer,
As Thunk went the Nail.
It was my hand, your hand, Our hands
That drove it home.

"We have tongues
Like vipers,
Hands of iron,
And fists of steel.
Words now soft,
And ever pleasing
To the ear," I love this verse, it's so sad and so true. We love to croon sweet things to others and destroy them while their eyes are closed.
