My flash profile for gaia online! >u<
I've always wanted a flash profile, but never could figure out how to put it on it. Now that I know, and it's going to be amazing!
I've been toying with the coding a lot, but the hardest part was to figure out a theme to use for the profile.
My first theme was really classy, ribbony, and pretty, very girly and kind of asian drama-y...
Then I realized, that's not who I am!
So I went based off of my gaia online avatar, the one that I love soooooooooooo much, and, here it is!

I'm super impressed though and a tiny bit jealous of your skills and your software... xD I just started with profile making and while I got the hang of making the layout css coding is going to take a bit O_O; That evil thing called school is keeping me from having time to do some heavy research and learning T_T
i would love to figure out how you layer each option into the boxes....i've seen it on several profiles now that i've started looking into this but maybe i shouldn't figure that out quite yet since I have to master basic ccs first X_X ah if only you can jump to being a pro in hours instead of weeks and months T_T

lol it's healthy to have some sort of goal to look forward to. c:

it's all about having the devotion and desire to go ahead and do it!
and this isn't css, incase that's what you were wondering.
this is made in flash, it's not css at all. c: it's a different type of script called
action scripting, which is the script used in most flashes. you can also
use java scripting in flashes as well, but i'm much too lazy to deal with that,
and you'd need to be able to edit the actual html of the page that you're
applying those changes to and yadda yadda yadda~~
and with css, there's really no such thing as 'basic css'. i guess the 'basic'
for that would just be to learn html, and then how to apply css to it. c:
a good basis in html is necessary to understanding and applying css.

what sort of scripting you're going to use for that particular program. c:

Ah I'm just making decorative backgrounds in paintshop pro. Like this ones [link] I wish I had times on the weekends but then I'm working and stuff T_T ah I guess its a just whenever twenty thirty minutes are open!
I know yours isn't css....that's what people use to put it on their gaia profile usually don't they? So it different coding then to link it to your pro when its flash like this? O_O wow more things to learn....but I would need programing for it anyways so......
I will look at html to try to understand css cause wading through it hasn't gotten me very far as of yet though i did end up successfully making a pro for my other gaia account by looking through other ppls codes >_<

just a little word of warning, you might want to take off that picture unless you drew the picture in the bottom left corner, other wise you'll be considered an art theif and be banned from dA.

and this is just flash and action scripting.
css coding is used for editing the body and such stuff like that, but this is a flash element, which means that the coding and stuff are all written and contained within the multimedia object, much like how youtube can embed their videos on gaia profiles. c:
and that's cool, but make sure not to steal all of the coding, that tends to make people upset because they've worked hard to get the coding right. c:
use other profiles to get your coding, but only take elements, use your own ideas. c:
