I am the only one who made this conversion of the Bear Flag for the state of California, which is constitutionally the part of the United States of America under its nickname called the Golden State. In this flag, I erased California Republic and inserted the title known as the "State of California" with its font called Aleger Sans to make the state more patriotic to the USA and prevent forming some countrymen into insurgents instead.

California Republic in a state flag could cause some people to become secessionists and make the state another republic, just like what the Southern Californians, who voted against admission in Congress in 1850 since they became independent from Mexico in 1846 (Bear Flag Revolution), want to fly the Bear Flags, and form their territory to be its own country during the secession crisis in 1861 before the American Civil War. So this is needed for the state government to officially adopt as a new state flag.
