Description
This picture means a lot to me. It's essentially the catalyst of my entry into DA.
It was a commission of mine (my first) that drew, and which was recently colored by . They both did an amazing job, and I think this pic is outstanding.
I was blown away and came to the realization that I wanted to make awesome stuff too. This started my attempts a ms paint, which led to my stories, which led to the creation of Nabs.
And as such, it is an integral part of the Nabs canon. Flaky was the "veteran victim," Nabs's first captive and possibly his favorite. With speed and agility, he had surprised her and began to restrain her with tape, all the while avoiding the struggling porcupine's quills. Once she was well bound and thoroughly gagged (she was a screamer) Flaky was brought to Nabs's warehouse and kept in one of its closets. Later, he would post the newspaper clipping on the wall to taunt her. "You're all mine," he would say to her, picking a stray flake from her quills. "But you don't need to worry about being alone; I will get you plenty of company soon enough. So don't be scared. Be happy!"
