I was curious if you never have sold patterns? I am knitted myself and would love to make one for my daughter an I!

Hello there :3 I totally adore this sweater!! Great work! <3 Pardon my curiosity but... how much would cost a sweater like this? My sister is a huge fan of Mabel and wants to cosplay her but we can't find a nice sweater anywhere which is quite essential for Mabel cosplay. Thanks

How many days does it usually take you to get these done? I'm also kind of curious about how you manage to stay motivated knitting something as large as a sweater. I could hardly manage a scarf, let alone a sweater. :V

Nonstop it could take less that a week. But the hours I can work are restricted to nighttime and sometimes I really need the sleep. So it usually means about two weeks depending on the project.
Although I have done sweaters 100% by hand (the Pepper Potts tunic is one such item) and I could have done this by hand as well, this was done on a basic knitting machine. Most of my cosplay commissions are done on the machine since it doesn't make sense to turn a 12 hour project into a 26 hour project just so I can say I made it on two needles.
As for motivation...well...knitting is my biggest hobby. I knit every day. If the project is simple enough, I can knit even in places where I can't see what I'm doing like a movie theater or in the car at night. I always keep some yarn and needles in my purse just in case I find myself having some down time. I don't need motivation to knit. What I really need is a motivation to finish what I start instead of going on to the next thing. Having a deadline keeps me focused on a single project. So gift knitting and commissions get done at a faster rate than stuff I make for myself. When it comes to personal stuff I tend to hop around from project to project.

I prefer to work on a commission basis only. I don't like to devote 10+ hours to something that isn't guaranteed to loved by someone else whether it's due to style or size.
