Description
This is my first time trying my hand at paper cutting. Knowing nothing of it, I learned a lot and made even more mistakes. My knife slipped so many times this is actually in five pieces. Next time I'm doing something with far less detail.Figure is a redesign of my clockwork monster S.

Shiiit I love this. Personally I enjoy the little cuts, makes it more "scraggy" which gives it a texture, somehow :3

Thanks. I should try paper cutting again. this was fun, but a little too ambitious for a first time.

I am already thinking of some other ones, but don't expect anything this detailed again for some time.

This is intense. I like how you kept the limbs that were furthest away black.

Well I did that partly because my hands were getting sore/me being lazy.
I'm happy that that the effect came out nicely though.

Oh man, such a thinly lined design must have been a bitch to cut out. I'm not surprised it broke in a few places, maybe leaving part of it on the black paper as a partial background would help keep the shape solid? Anyway, the detail is really impressive!

I actually left it attached to the paper until the very end. Nearly all of my breaks were from when I cut it out of the paper. By then my blade was super dull and that certainly did not help.
