Description -- Editted to remove IPs related to Funimation Entertainment's liscensed properties following a DMCA claim. I attempted to reach out to Funimation to find out exactly what elements of the piece specifically belonged to Funimation and after over a week they've yet to respond to my email so I've airbrushed anything Funimation related out of it, which is super-soul destroying as the piece was made as a celebration of these characters and is effectively free advertising for them. It's a picture that shouts "these are cool characters! They had a strong impact on this person! You should look into these shows and games and buy them!"

The true mystery is how they found this piece (I'm not popular by any definition) and why they felt it was nessessary to use a DMCA takedown notice when I would've airbrushed their stuff out if they had simply asked me to and I make no benefit out of the piece beyond pageviews (which I don't care about beyond vanity) and as an example of the kind of handdrawn art I can do for my portfolio. I even creditted them in the copyright holders section of the original piece to identify clearly what is and isn't my stuff. Hopefully, should other legal teams be drawn to this piece they might take pause to first contact me via dA's messaging system or simply shooting me an email with any concerns they have so I can act on them and/or consider that this non-profit, insignificant artist isn't worth their time compared to actual copyright infringement on a scale that actually impacts their earnings. --

This piece is simply a celebration of all the characters I could think of at the time, old and new, that have influenced and impacted my life thoughout my life and placed in a setting where they can interact with each other and with me as I do my favourite hobby, playing video games.

It goes without saying that if you like any of the characters featured in this piece you should SUPPORT THE OFFICIAL RELEASES of those characters so that these shows and games can continue to be made and that they continue to inspire people in the future in their own works.
