Wanted to draw what I think Niko was doing during the short pause before they walk through the portal home, on realising that they can finally return home.

Hand-drawn in erasable ink, then scanned into a computer to darken the lines and colour it using GIMP.
My first proper attempt at digital colouring and lighting, as well as drawing a character crying from happiness. I think it turned out pretty well. Constructive suggestions for ways to improve are appreciated.

3 changes were made while creating this. Firstly the Entity's avatar was going to being the computer screen to witness Niko's departure but I struggled to draw it on the tiny screen so it was cut. Secondly I wanted the bulb somewhere to continue its motif in the game but as the room isn't lit by a bulb and because the exit room is in the Tower I could think of a good way to integrate it. Thirdly Niko was originally going to be running to towards the screen. I couldn't get the pose right so went with the anxious standing/hand holding pose instead.
