Description
By now i probably should have moved on instead of letting my obsessions get in the way of making anything useful... in the length of time i have spent changing, updating and remaking this car i could have probably created a whole fleet of new ones... but nonetheless... i carry on.Anyways, the Trueno, this time with the kouki version, sporting a set of Longchamp XR4's and.... thats it. The render is meant to have that "i left my photo's in the sun, and they faded away look"... going for a retro 80's feel still with a bit of desaturation, and red hues.
The model is a game model (Racer)... with about 4500 polys for the exterior body mesh, and another 4k for the interior...for that extra cockpit pleasure.. and it looks fairly nice ingame which makes a change from the previous versions.
bonus points if you spot Tarepanda

This must be that famous Trueno that ViperSRT10 was talking about. I must say it's the best model I've seen!

Great job on the extremely appropriate 80s faded effect.

the one thing i dont like about the kouki front it the panda color isnt a straight line across i think it does, line up on the levins tho
interesting fact "trueno" means thunder and "levin" means lightning..

Wow great !! I thought it was a photo too from the thumbnail ! Impressive, really. Plus I absolutely love that car. It seems that I've found the right gallery over here, hehe.

This isn't 4,000 tris. No way in hell is this that low poly. I count 1600 tris on the tires alone (not including extra detail on hub caps or unseen detail inside the rim.
Have you got a wireframe?

Very, very nice. I thought it was a photo til I saw the full view. Very convincing for a low-poly model as well.

Lovely. I think Tarepanda is hanging from the rear view? This is seriously good model. And if you say it's only for 4K + polys for the outside, well it doesn't look like that. Which makes it even more technically beautifull. Great integration onto the photo as well.
